JAKARTA Amazon Web Services (AWS) wants to help customers in building a generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) application in a strong and secure foundation. Therefore, AWS released several updates. Kimberly Dickson, Senior Worldwide Security Specialist AWS, said that it has updated four services in AWS. The four services are Amazon GuardDuty, AWS IAM, AWS CloudTrail, and AWS Audit Manager. Amazon GuardDuty, a malware protection service that can detect threats, now supports the storage of Amazon S3 cloud objects (Simple Storage Services). In addition, Amazon also strengthens workloads and data in this service. Next, AWS added code key support for second factor authentication in AWS IAM. Kimberly explained that this support has been launched and can be accessed freely by all customers. "Customers can now use safe authentication and synchronization with built-in (device) authentication IDs such as Touch ID or other biometric authentication methods such as fingerprinting, face, and PIN devices," said Kimberly on Wednesday, July 3. Not only getting code key support, Identify and Access Management in AWS IAM now offers recommendations for reviewing and removing unused access keys. This service has also released a special inspection policy.

AWS CloudTrail is now supported by query creation and natural languages that can respond to various questions. With this update, customers no longer need to write complicated structured query language (SQL) just to analyze data. "By using natural language, customers can ask a variety of questions like, 'Tell me how many databases are created without activating encryption'," said Kimberly. Finally, AWS has updated the framework practice on Amazon Sage Maker through the Audit Manager service. The cloud company is also correcting data source mapping and automated evidence collection in AWS machine learning services (ML). "(This update) helps customers in obtaining visibility regarding whether AI workloads comply with controls around governance, data security, privacy, incident management, as well as business survival planning," Kimberly explained. By launching various updates on its cloud services, AWS believes that they can provide the best infrastructure for generating generative AIs. All these services can be used by customers across countries.
