Seagate Appoints Niizuma As President Of New Sales In Asia Pacific And Japan

Seagate Technology Holdings, a leading innovator for large-capacity data storage, appointed Futoshi Niizuma as Vice President for sales for Asia Pacific and Japan.

With this new position, Niizuma will handle all activities related to sales and technical support throughout the region.

"We are excited to welcome Niizuma in this new, wider role," said BanSeng Teh, Executive Vice President, and Seagate Chief Commercial Officer in an official statement received on Monday, July 1.

Because according to BanSeng, Niizuma is trusted because he has extraordinary experience in working with business partners, and his leadership will be trusted to strengthen and support Seagate customers in the region.

Niizuma joined Seagate in October 2009 and has held various senior positions in Japan, South Asia, ASEAN, Australia, and New Zealand.

In his last position, Niizuma managed to lead the Seagate sales team in increasing market presence, building a strong cooperation ecosystem, and providing extraordinary value to customers.

Prior to joining Seagate, Niizuma had held senior positions in sales, marketing, and management, including Kenwood Corporation and Advanced Micro Devices.
