JAKARTA - Meta Platform Inc. launched an update for WhatsApp calls, which now allows users to invite up to 32 people on video calls across devices.
"Since we brought Calls to WhatsApp in 2015, we have continued to improve it by introducing group calls, video calls, and multi-platform support," the company wrote in its latest announcement.
Not only that, when you are sharing a screen, you will also be able to share audio. So, watching a video together becomes much more fun than before.
Another update is the speaker's spotlight, where speakers will be automatically highlighted and appear for the first time on the screen, thus you can easily see who is talking.
"We also remain focused on audio and video quality, for clearer calls wherever you are," continued Meta more clearly.

Meta has also recently launched the MLoow codec, which provides enhanced noise and echo damping during WhatsApp calls, as well as higher resolutions for faster connection calls for video calls.
Audio as a whole is also sharper, though you have poor network connectivity or use older devices.
