JAKARTA Slack, a communication platform that facilitates work flow, launched Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based tools to several users last February. Now, Slack AI has been launched to paid users. Competitors from Microsoft Teams launched Slack AI to help employees generate channel chat recaps automatically. This recapitulation will explain important points that users may miss. In addition to recapitulating important chats, Slack AI can also track various jokes made by workers. The algorithm used is indeed quite intelligent because it can recognize various topics that exist in the channel. When launching Slack AI, the company says that the feature will provide smart suggestions. "Just point out the conversation, as you do to friendly coworkers who know everything about your organization."

Slack AI also has other interesting features, namely the search for conversations. When users do not understand the meaning of a discussion, moreover a very important discussion, they can ask Slack AI. Users only need to ask simple questions to Slack AI. The algorithm of the tool will work and search for all conversations in the channel. After finding what they are looking for, Slack AI will provide answers. Unfortunately, the language used in Slack AI is still limited. Users must ask questions using English or recently added languages, namely Japan and Spain. It is not yet known when other languages will be added.
