How To Reset TikTok's FYP Page

JAKARTA The TikTok For You Page (FYP) page is connected according to the videos you like or watch often. However, in some cases, the FYP system does not work optimally.

If the FYP TikTok display has deviated from the topics you like, you can reset the page. By resetting the FYP, the system will remove existing feed patterns and preferences.

To reset the FYP, open the application that has been connected to your account. After that, tap the Profile icon in the lower right corner and tap the vertical three-dot icon in the upper right corner until the pop-up appears.

When the three new menus are visible, select Settings and Privacy, then search for the Content Preferences menu. Next, tap the Free Feed option for you and click Continue. Finally, tap Fresh and the FYP feed will be re-loaded.

In addition to resetting the FYP through settings, you can also change the video topics that appear on the feed by actively pressing the Not Interested sign. Keep doing this if videos you don't like appear.

By showing that you don't like certain video categories, the TikTok system will read your actions and send signals to the algorithm. After that, the feed for FYP will be personalized from scratch.
