JAKARTA For some people, watching a series or film will be more comfortable using television. However, not all users have access to streaming platforms, such as Netflix, Viu, or Prime Video.

If this is an obstacle, the best way to watch movies or series that you want is to transmit from an Android device to a smart TV. This Transmission or Cast feature is usually available in Android applications or systems.

Apps like YouTube, Netflix, to Hulu have Transmission buttons that you can use. However, some types or models of smartphones may not have the button. If that happens, you can use Google Home.

Google Home is an application that can be connected to smart TV or Google Chromecast. Before transmitting, make sure that the smart TV or Chromecast you are using is connected to a Google account.

Once the Google account is linked, open the Google Home application on your device, then select the television you want to connect to. If so, click Transmission My Screen, then tap Screen Transmission when pop-up appears.

If your phone asks for confirmation to record or start transmission, tap Start Now. After that, the display on your phone screen will be visible on the television screen. You can immediately open the streaming app and start watching.

When you finish watching the movies or series you want, open Google Home from your phone and scroll down the screen. Tap the down arrow in the Transmission Screen Notification and tap Decide Connection.
