There are several things to note before the device is set to factory settings, such as remembering Apple's device password and loginID. You should also remember Apple ID passwords so that their accounts can be reused.

Another important step that should not be missed is to back up all the data on your iPhone. This reserve is very useful if you want to switch to a new device or reset the device due to a problem.

Finally, you need to set up a two-factor authentication system (2FA) so that the device is not locked when you want to open. To check if the system is active, open Settings, then tap your name to open Apple ID settings.

After that, select Sign in and Security, then open the Two Factors Authentication menu. In the menu, you can set a Trusted Security Code and Phone Number so that your Apple ID account is not locked when tried on other devices.

Next, click the menu until you see the option to reset the device. If you reset the iPhone because you want to move to a new iPhone, click the Start menu at the top of the screen and follow all the requested instructions.

However, if you want to return to the factory settings for other reasons, don't click Reset because the menu won't delete the iPhone data and app completely. Tap Delete All Content and Settings so that no data remains.
