Jobstreet Report: 97 Percent Of Companies Recruitment In 2023

JAKARTA - Jobstreet professional job seeker platform by SEEK launched the latest exclusive report entitled Recruitment, Compensation, and Benefits 2024 on Thursday, January 25.

The survey conducted on 1,180 recruitment practitioners (talent acquisitions) in Indonesia from various key sectors such as Manufacturing, IT & Telecommunications, and Retail & Trade, provides insight into the current recruitment landscape and its development projections for 2024.

This report shows a trend of increasing recruitment momentum where 97 percent of companies are recruiting in 2023, an increase of 5 percent compared to 2022.

In 2023, Admin and HR are the most popular jobs recruited by 40 percent of companies, followed by Accounting at 34 percent, while Engineering rose to fifth position with 20 percent, surpassing Information Technology at 15 percent.

In addition, the Jobstreet survey also sees that in 2024, many companies aim to recruit more employees.
