JAKARTA Indonesian Game Developer Exchange (IGDX), an important annual event in the game industry in Indonesia was again held in Bali on 11-13 October 2023.
As one of the IGNX programs, namely theIGDX Business and Conference will also be held at the same time, by the Ministry of Communication and Information (Kominfo) together with the Indonesian Game Association (AGI).
IGNX business and Conference itself is a follow-up event for other IGDX programs that are already running, namely theIGDX Academy and the IGDX Career.
The IGNX Business is a matchmaking business event that connects domestic game developers with various stakeholders in the game industry, through a 1-on-1 meeting to create new business opportunities, cooperation, funding, and other partnerships.
Meanwhile, the GIDX Conference is a seminar that aims to provide information sharing and discussion between game industry stakeholders, which will be attended by the government, the general public, investors, publishers, marketplace platforms, and game developers.
Seeing the success of last year'sIGDX Business and Conference, Kominfo and AGI believe that this year's event can also have a very useful positive impact on the parties involved, especially local game studios.
"We hope that the 2023 IGDX will be more crowded, productive, and useful for industry players, as the most awaited video game business event in Southeast Asia", said Cipto Adiguno as the general chairman of AGI at a press conference held online on Tuesday, September 26.
Interestingly, this year, in addition to business activities and seminars,IGDX Business and Conference are also preparing a game exhibition that will be filled by IGDX Academy participants as well as other Indonesian game studios.

The exhibition is expected to lure the public to play local games and gain deeper insight into games that have or will be launched.
"This year's GIDX Business targets as many as 250 participants who come from investors, publishers, buyers, corporations and venture capital to carry out network business meetings," said Kominfo's Director of Digital Economy, I Nyoman Adhiarna.
Meanwhile, the IGDX Conference targets as many as 300 people from industry players, game enthusiasts, students, the government, the media, and the general public to be able to try more than 40 new games from Indonesia's game developer.
