Apple IOS 14.4, Will Love Warn Users Who Use Non-Ori Components

JAKARTA - One of the reasons why the official repair costs of a smartphone is very high because the spare parts used are genuine, not fake.

This means that if you repair an Apple device such as an iPhone, it is guaranteed that the components used will be the same as those on the iPhone in general.

Conversely, repairing devices from third parties or unofficial at lower costs will certainly have an impact on the quality of the components used.

It's not wrong if you prefer this alternative, but Apple wants its users to remain vigilant.

New features in iOS 14.4 (Apple)

According to a Ubergizmo report, the Cupertino-based giant has just rolled out a new iOS update version 14.4.

It is known that in this update, iPhone users who use the camera component instead of the original will get a notification in the form of a notification when their smartphone is used.

However, this notification will not restrict users from using the camera on their iPhone.

Apple only warns users that using third-party components may not necessarily have the same experience compared to genuine components.

For example, using non-original components can cause problems in portrait mode where they can stop suddenly or freeze until they don't work at all.

This isn't the first time Apple has introduced such a warning message. The company previously did the same for the screen as well as the battery, where they would alert the user when the iPhone detects a non-genuine component.

Even though it sounds good, some people argue that this step taken by Apple could put third-party smartphone repair businesses at a disadvantage as many iPhone users choose to replace with original components.
