JAKARTA - Meta once again wants Facebook to continue to triumph like other social media by presenting many updates. Including, a new monetization feature to lure content creators.

Through the company's official blog, quoted by VOI Thursday, June 15, Meta added an Inspiration Center on Professional Dasbor to collect popular Reels, hashtags, topics and music so that creators get ideas for their content.

There is also a new template Hub at the Reels Composer, which features trending templates and can be used to easily create Reels.

Now, Meta makes it easier for users to edit Reels in Facebook's mobile app. The company has brought together audio, music, and text into an integrated editing screen, making it easier to overlay and set times for various creative elements of Reels content.

Starting in the coming weeks, when creators upload long videos or finish Live on mobile or desktop devices, they can create clips from original content linked to original videos.

"For Lives, we have updated our Clips to Reels feature so Facebook will help automatically select the highest quality clip from Live, and reform it into a reel that creators can easily publish," said Meta.

Meta will also help creators to get a lot of followers, one of which is by bringing updates to ProMode, where there is now a daily checklist module with tips to help creators develop their viewers.

This is based on the resources and educational tools that have recently been shared. ProMode is a feature to make anyone a creator using profiles that already have on Facebook.

In addition, ProMode creators can now appear in the Creators to Follow units in the Feed to make it easier for more people to find. When ProMode creators comment on public posts, the follow button can appear with their names so they can attract new followers through conversations.

"Promode creators can now use ads to upgrade their Reels to reach new viewers," Meta said.

Now, Meta brings Reels insights that were previously only available on the Meta Business Suite to the Professional Dasbor.

The update includes Page-level Reels insights, profiles on the range, interaction and insight of each Reels. Such as new followers attributable to Reels, health distributions, and retention graphs that show how long viewers watch.

"In the coming weeks, we will also launch a new metric on the Professional Dasbor that will show creators how their accounts perform at more detailed levels, including levels of interaction and consumption based on format, as well as by followers and non-followers across all of their content," Meta said.

"In addition to net followers, creators will also see how many followers have been obtained and lost within a certain period of time," he added.

Others, Meta is also testing the ability to cross Reels and Instagram-branded content Stories to Facebook, increasing campaign range and impact.

"At Facebook, we have reduced the requirements for the feasibility of partnership advertising, so creators who use Pages can give their brand partners permission to run ads from their Facebook Pages," Meta said.

More creators will also be invited to join the Performa bonus program, which awards creators for getting strong interactions with their content on Facebook.

Extra bonuses are also given so that creators can generate more money. In fact, like YouTube, Meta has also lowered some monetization feasibility requirements for Stars, where they must have 500 followers (down from 1,000) over the past 30 days (down from 60).

For information, last month Meta announced an update for testing Ads on Reels which included a new payment model and expansion to more creators.

Now, Meta plans to start limited testing soon where selected creators can monetize Reels which includes licensed music from Facebook's Audio Bibliography.

"A eligible creator will be notified on the Facebook app and we look forward to launching it more widely from time to time," concluded Meta.
