Apple Maps Users Will Be Able To See The Availability Of Electric Vehicle Station Charging

JAKARTA - Tech giant Apple announced a lot of updates that will come to all its products and devices, during the Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) 2023 on June 5.

One of the upcoming updates at the end of this year, users around the world will be able to enjoy more features on the upcoming Apple Maps alongside iOS 17, iPadOS 17, macOS Sonoma, watchOS 10, and tvOS 17.

Apple Maps users with electric vehicles using Apple will be able to see the availability of electric vehicle charging stations in real-time.

Thus, they will be able to see the availability of real time charging stations filtered by the charging network, type of plugs, and more, and users with compatible vehicles will be able to designate the preferred charging network.

In addition, Apple will also allow users to be able to explore Apple Maps offline. Later, users can easily select the area on their device and download it with just one tap.

When offline, users will be able to access turn-by-turn navigation for driving, walking, transiting, and cycling, seeing the estimated arrival times, finding a place on the Map, and much more.

Lastly, Apple Maps will also allow you to be easier than ever to find thousands of paths in parks across the US with a place card that includes detailed information such as lengths and types of tracks, difficulties, and altitude gains.
