JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has just purchased a fire fighting robot, named Dok-Ing MVF-5 U3. This robot was purchased for Rp. 32 billion, and has been ordered since 2019.

This robot that functions as a firefighter and rescue officer has a variety of powerful features. Initially the MVF-5 was designed to perform emergency tasks at the scene of a disaster.

Meanwhile in Indonesia, this robot comes with a fire extinguisher feature. Based on its function, this robot can be operated using a remote up to a viewing distance of 1.5 meters. So that it can reduce the risk of harm to officers.

Equipped with an R / C battery that can last up to 10 hours of use. Equipped with a system of nine video cameras and a screen for live monitoring.

Questioning the price, the DKI Provincial Government confirmed that Dok-Ing MVF-5 U3 was purchased at a price of IDR 32 billion, while the LUF60 was around IDR 8 billion.
