Call The Ojol-Kurir Holiday Bonus IDR 1 Million, Prabowo: If It Can Be Added

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto revealed that this year online motorcycle taxi drivers (ojol) and online couriers will receive the Eid Al-Fitr Bonus (BHR).

Prabowo said the special government this year paid special attention to ojol drivers and couriers who had not received holiday bonuses.

The amount of BHR to be received reaches Rp. 1 million.

"I heard they will receive approximately Rp. 1 million. Each worker," Prabowo said in his remarks before the Plenary Cabinet Session regarding preparations ahead of Eid al-Fitr 1446 H at the State Palace, Friday, March 21.

In fact, Prabowo suggested, entrepreneurs to increase the amount of BHR received by ojol and couriers.

Prabowo assessed that employers need to pay attention to workers who bring benefits to the company.

"I urge private entrepreneurs if they can be added. If you appeal, you can. There is no coercion, right? If the president appeals, yes. We urge," continued Prabowo.

He added that the provision of BHR for ojol and couriers was a new initiative from the government that succeeded in collaborating with the private sector.

"This is because of cooperation with private drivers. Because users must know, if the time is good, he is profitable, he must pay attention to his workers. In fact, these workers provide benefits for him," said Prabowo.
