Followed By The Valorant Team, The Indonesian Crossfire Team Undergoes Training Camp In China And South Korea

JAKARTA - The Indonesian Crossfire national team is currently undergoing a Training Camp program in China and South Korea ahead of Southeast Asia's biggest sporting event, the 2023 SEA Games which will be held in May in Cambodia.

Program ini dilaksanakan bukan tanpa alasan, Deputy Head Coach Timnas Esports Indonesia, Richard Perman mengatakan bahwa hal ini dilakukan karena China merupakan kiblat untuk esports Crossfire di Asia.

So, Richard thinks that this program is the best step to hone the ability of Indonesian professional athletes to be free to conduct a scrim against teams from China, Korea and Japan.

"Because the qiblat of the Indonesian Crossfire national team undergoing training crossfire is China, the scene is very live, the best team is here. The Vietnam team won 1 sea games yesterday and the training was against China," said Richard, quoting Garudaku's official Instagram.

Meanwhile, the Indonesian Valorant National Team has already undergone a series of training programs in Seoul for 15 days. Secretary General of the Indonesian Esports Executive Board (PBESI) Frengky Ong said that athletes were given the opportunity to do training in matches with four teams from South Korea.

It should be noted that the esports sports match at the Cambodian SEA Games 2023 will take place on 8 - 15 May 2023. While the complete schedule will follow in the future.

As one of the outstanding sports that will compete in this year's Cambodian SEA Games, PBESI and the Ministry of Youth and Sports (Kemenpora) are targeting the esports national team to become the overall champion at this prestigious event.
