WhatsApp's new policy to share data with Facebook left some of its users uneasy and unhappy with this new change.

They want to migrate to other messaging apps like Signal and the app has been included in the top free apps on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

However, it must be remembered, if you want to migrate to another application, of course there will be a lot of important data such as chat, photos, videos, and others that cannot be moved considering Signal and WhatsApp are different.

However, Signal, through its official Twitter account, shared how to move groups from applications other than Signal.

The first steps you will need to take are described on Gadgetsnow.

1. Open the Signal app that you downloaded from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store

2. Then click the "pencil" button in the top right corner and select the option 'New Group'

3. Select the members to add to the group

4. Once collected, click continue and the group has been successfully created.

5. Then, go to the group settings section and click on the option 'Group Link'

6. Turn on the 'Group Link' option and select the 'Share' option. This step will activate the group link that has been created and is ready to be shared with groups on WhatsApp or other applications.

7. Finally, share the Signal group link earlier to your WhatsApp group

Now, anyone who accesses the link can chat on the Signal application created by the Admin. Group admins can always turn off the 'Group Link'. Apart from WhatsApp, the Admin can actually share the link with other chat applications.
