JAKARTA - When your tweet goes viral on Twitter, you'll see the number of people retweeting and liking your tweets, along with the people's account names.

Similar to the like feature and retweet, Elon Musk's social network rolled out a new capability to iOS users to show the number of people who posted your tweets.

'We love Marks for saving tweets to visit again later. Starting today on iOS, you can now see how many times Tweets have been tagged in Tweet details," Twitter wrote in its announcement.

However, Twitter stressed that the marker will still be private. Users may know if their tweets are popular, but they won't know who posted certain posts.

"But don't worry, yourmark is still private. We will never show which account has added Tweets to theirmarks," the company said further.

Twitter also said that this capability will also be available for the Android app in the future.

If you are a creator or run a social media account, especially the company's Twitter, this counting feature can show whether followers find your posts useful or not. This feature can also help you improve content to reach a wider audience.

This addition comes after several improvements on Twitter, such as warnings about community misinformation records. However, services have recently been dominated by concerns about a series of outages and paywalls for text-based two-factor authentication.
