Reaching Chapter 1,000, Eiichiro Oda Thanks Fans For Support

JAKARTA - The comic series One Piece has entered its 1,000th chapter, the release of this chapter is also a special moment for mangaka Eiichiro Oda. He expressed his gratitude to the fans who have been loyal to read his comics for 23 years.

"1,000 chapters !! Well, a lot has happened in the last 23 years. I've spent half of my life," said Oda in an official statement released by Shonen Jump publisher to social media, Monday, January 4.

Eiichiro Oda also thanked the loyal readers of the One Piece manga who are still loyal. During this time, and most of his life was spent writing manga that he liked.
