JAKARTA - Some time ago, Hertz, a car rental company, announced his new partnership with all mayors in the United States by launching a new initiative called Hertz Electrifies.
With this initiative, Hertz will bring its EV fleet to cities in America, while supporting the development of charging infrastructure, creating educational and training opportunities for high-quality work in the new mobility era, and engaging with local organizations to expand the benefits of electrification to underserved communities.
Hertz Electrify was launched in Denver, Colorado in partnership with Mayor Michael B. Hancock.
"Electric vehicles are ready to change the future of mobility. That's why Hertz invests in North America's largest electric vehicle rental fleet and delivers new driving experiences for holiday and business customers, as well as rideshare drivers," Hertz CEO Stephen Scherr said in his announcement.

Through this initiative, Hertz aims to bring up to 5,200 rental EVs to Denver, for the availability of Hertz customers and rideshare drivers, increasing charging capacity at Denver International Airport through the installation of Level 2 and fast charging mixtures.
In addition, Hertz is also working with Bp pulse, a global high-speed power charging network, to support the installation of EV chargers that are publicly accessible across the Denver environment.
"Our goal is to reduce carbon emissions 80 percent by 2050 in Denver, and expand the use and availability of electric vehicles will play a major role in helping us achieve that goal," said Denver Mayor Michael B. Hancock.
According to Hancock, electric vehicles can benefit every community in Denver. "This is integrated energy in action." he added.
