Crypto Aptos (APT) Skyrocketed By More Than 100 Percent In The PAST Week, What's Going On?

JAKARTA Aptos (APT) is a cryptocurrency developed by Mo Shaikh and penuh Ching. APT has been a hot topic of conversation lately. The reason is, Solana's rivals have increased 108 percent in the last two weeks. Now Aptos ranks 41th in the ranks of the 100 largest cryptocurrencies by market capitalization.

At the time of writing, APT is trading at Rp121,744. In the last 24 hours, Aptos has fallen 1.1 percent according to Coingecko data. For additional information, the two Aptos developers initially worked on Facebook's crypto project (now Meta), Diem.

Previously, Diem was designed to be a fast and measurable blockchain that can be accessed by the public. However, the plan was canceled. Mo Shaikh finally decided to develop the Aptos project. Now APT has received a positive response from the crypto community.

APT's rally comes amid the overall crypto market recovery, with Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH) and most altcoins recording gains over the past few days. The Aptos ecosystem also shows signs of life, as several projects and milestones begin to emerge.

Recently, Atomic Wallet, a self-hosting cryptocurrency wallet with more than 3 million users worldwide, announced support for APT holders. Then, Flow, a blockchain created by the developer behind the popular Ethereum Cryptoes-based GAME, has implemented Jolteon, a coding protocol created by executives from Aptos.

Prior to the new year's turn, Aptos CEO and co-founder Mo Shaikh said that 2023 would bring significant development to Solana's rivals.

"There are several things DeFi (decentralized finance, ed.) which will soon be broadcast that take advantage of not only things like Move, but also parallel transaction processing," said Shaikh as quoted by DailyHodl.

Furthermore, he explained a number of important points for DeFi Aptos including AMM (automated market maker) and DEX (decentralized rice). The Aptos leader mentioned that all of these things will be really cool to keep an eye on Aptos. That will be a step change in innovation relative to everything we have seen in the previous blockchain generation. So we look forward to all that."
