SHIB Army Mount Shibarium Launch, Shiba Inu Token Rise?

JAKARTA The Shiba Inu meme coin community, SHIB Army, is delighted to welcome the planned launch of the Shibarium, a layer-2 scaling solution. The good news was conveyed by the Shiba Inu developer on January 15, 2023.

Even so, the new developer will launch the beta version of the Shibarium first. The Shibarium will launch on the Ethereum blockchain to provide better scalability, faster transaction times, and lower costs, as reported by Bitcoin.com News.

Previously, the developer planned to launch the Shibarium by the end of 2022. However, the plan was pushed back until 2023. Through the official Shiba Inu blog post, the developer uploaded a post related to the launch plan with an article entitled Shibarian Delivery: Shiba Inu Layer 2 Network.

From the post, the developer explained that the Shibarium beta will launch soon. The developer also outlined what the positive impact would be after the launch of the layer-2 platform. The development team said the Shibarium would be released regularly.

The project's original token, called BONE, will be used to "pay transaction fees and award validators and delegators in the Shibarian protocol." The team also mentioned that while there is a supply of 250 million BONE, "20 million has been reserved to reward validators and delegators in the years to come."

The ERC20 Shiba Inu (SHIB) meme token has increased due to positive sentiment related to the Shibarium over the past week. Based on Coingecko data, the price of SHIB tokens rose 17 percent in the past week. At the time of writing, SHIB is trading at IDR 0.1 per token.
