Outrage Of Indonesian Citizens' Anger On YouTuber Malaysia

JAKARTA - The parody of the Indonesian song Raya by Malaysian YouTubers has drawn criticism from netizens. The anger was poured out all on Twitter's social media.

Monitored until Monday, December 28, this afternoon, the hashtag #IndonesiaRaya is still perched at the top of Indonesia's Twitter trending topic. More than 411 thousand Indonesian netizens tweeted their anger regarding the issue of the national anthem.

Although the parody video of the song Indonesia Raya has been removed by YouTube. But the excerpt from the lyrics of the national anthem, which was replaced with a derisive sentence, has angered Indonesian citizens.

Citizens think the composition of the song is not funny at all. They asked the Malaysian side to respect the Indonesian national anthem.

Through his spokesperson, the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Teuku Faizasyah, revealed that this case has arrived in Malaysia and will then be handled by the Malaysian Royal Police to find the culprit.

The Malaysian Embassy in Indonesia is also making sure that the authorities are investigating this case, and it is hoped that the culprit will soon be found.
