Wow! The New Blue Twitter Subscription Package Is Now Present In Japan

JAKARTA - After launching a new subscription package for Twitter Blue in five states including the US, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand, Elon Musk's social media platform is now launching it in Japan.

In a note shared on its support page, Twitter revealed that users in Japan can now purchase subscriptions at a price of 980 yen (Rp109 thousand) per month for the web version, and 1,380 yen (Rp153.7 thousand) per month for the iOS version.

Currently, Twitter Blue offers features such as blue verification badges, older video uploads, priority ratings in conversation replies, thread readers, and tweet editing features along with icons and special themes. While some of these features are already in older versions of paid subscriptions, verification signatures, higher video upload limits, and rating improvements are recently introduced features.

After successfully taking over Twitter late last year, Musk overhauled the verification system on Twitter. Not only that, Musk also added a lot of new changes and features there.

Earlier in 2023, at least Musk will bring in four changes and new features that are scheduled to roll out in January and February.

"The push to the right/left is easy to move between recommended tweets vs that followed launched later this week. The first part of the UI reshuffle is much larger. The new navigation button, which is said to be coming later this week, allows users to shift to the side only to switch between tweets, trends, topics, and so on. While the upcoming Bookmark button will have six categories including, All Bookmarks,TUs, Spreads, Cute, Movies/books/podcast, and also Things to buy.
