JAKARTA - Early 2023 looks set to bring a lot of changes to Twitter's social media platform. At least, there will be four new changes brought by CEO Elon Musk in January and February.

"The push to the right/left is easy to move between recommended tweets vs that followed launched later this week. The first part of the UI reshuffle is much larger. The benchmark button (de facto silent like) in detail Tweets launched a week later," Musk wrote on Twitter.

The new navigation button said to be coming later this week allows users to simply shift to the side to switch between tweets, trends, topics, and so on.

Musk also added, before the new navigation is rolled out widely, you can switch from the recommended tweet to the latest tweet via the stellar icon in the top right corner of the app. "Until then, tap the star icon at the top right of the home screen to switch," he wrote last week.

Then, the new Bookmark button on Twitter, which will be rolled out a week later, will share content by type. The upcoming Bookmark button will have six categories including All Bookmarks, tentu, Spreads, Cute, Movie/books/podcast, and also Thing to buy.

Lastly, a feature that allows users to write longer tweets to launch next month. "In early February, long-form Tweets," Musk said in the same tweet.

The number of characters in the tweet was originally designed to match the official limit for SMS text messages on mobile phones, namely 140 characters. Then expanded to 280 characters in 2017.

In February, Musk will also delete the existing tweet limits. Musk said Twitter would soon end the suffering of its users who frequently type messages on notes and then upload screenshots to Twitter, in order to overcome character restrictions.
