Match Format, Bagan And Knockout Round Schedule At M4 World Championship

JAKARTA - The first round or group stage of the World Mobile Legends tournament, the M4 World Championship, has been completed for four days, starting from January 1-4, 2023 in Jakarta.

The 16 teams competing in this prestigious event already have their respective positions for the next round, namely the Knockout round.

Eight teams in positions 1 and 2 of each group occupy seats in the upper brackets of the Knockout round. Meanwhile, the team in the 3rd and 4th positions must occupy the lower bracket seats.

Teams in lower brackets only have one chance, where when they lose, they will be eliminated immediately.

Unlike the team in the upper bracket. The team in the upper bracket has two chances. So, when they lose in the first match, they will go down and compete again with the winner in the lower bracket.

Game Format Babak Knockout

The format used in this round is varied. The format of the Best of Three (BO3) will be used in team matches in lower brackets. Then the team in the upper bracket and quarter-finals, then play in match format turning to Best of Five (BO5). While in the Grand Final round later, it still applies the Best of Seven (BO7) system.
