JAKARTA - The Indonesian International Motor Show (IIMS) automotive exhibition will be held again in 2021. After obtaining a permit and ensuring that the holding of the largest automotive event in Indonesia follows the applicable health protocol (Prokes).

The automotive exhibition, which will be held on February 8-28, 2021, will carry a hybrid concept. By combining controlled offline visitor activities and mandatory prior registration through online access, including transactions.

The IIMS 2021 event received a positive signal after the management of the Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo), Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, received a Decree (SK) as an international standard convention and exhibition venue which was allowed to hold exhibitions with strict conditions.

The permit received by JIExpo is a decree issued by the Head of the DKI Jakarta Province Tourism and Creative Economy Office, number 526 of 2020. It contains the reopening of tourism businesses during the PSBB Transition Period for Exhibition Activities.

Dyandra Promosindo President Director Hendra Noor Saleh as the organizer of the IIMS welcomed the news. However, even though there is a decree, it must be accompanied by strengthening and thickening health protocols.

He ensured that various Prokes facilities such as ambulance, isolation room, disinfectant chamber, calibrated body temperature screening tool, first aid room, hand sanitizer and hand washing facilities, information media and signs related to the implementation of Prokes, SOP and the COVID-19 Task Force. available during the exhibition.

Including making changes to booth construction that will be installed by vehicle vendors, by imposing restrictions on the number of visitors or crowd control. So that the largest automotive exhibition in Indonesia can continue.
