JAKARTA - In the midst of turning off Twitter servers for some users in the world, Elon Musk announced that the company is launching a change in its Twitter backend server architecture.

It's uncertain whether this issue was caused by a backend change for the platform or not, which explains Musk claims Twitter should now feel faster.

"significant change in server backend architecture has been launched. Twitter should have felt faster," Musk tweeted on Thursday, December 29.

In response to Musk's tweet, some users seem to disagree about the statement saying "Twitter should feel faster".

"Since your purchase and appointment as CEO, the Twitter app for Android has become unstable and can hardly be used. Slow down and crash continuously," said @JaumedUrgell.

"Twitter is damaged on the web. It doesn't allow people to enter," said @HarrisonKrank.

Previously, according to the DownDetector page, more than 10,000 Twitter users worldwide had problems this morning.

Some users claim to have different problems, ranging from not being able to log in, unable to update the timeline, to many accounts that cannot be displayed.

It is not yet known whether the problem has been resolved or not, but some users have said that their account is now back to normal and can be reused.

"I had a problem an hour and a half ago, it looks like it's working now," said the user with the account name @jxeral.
