JAKARTA - To make your Christmas and New Year holidays memorable, traveling somewhere, watching movies can be the right choice, especially if you like to taste all kinds of food in a restaurant, and Google can help you in this.

However, there are times when you are confused about choosing a restaurant and determining the menu. Debate must occur. Don't worry because technology is now getting more sophisticated.

Here's how Google can help you resolve the debate about which dinner menu you or restaurant you will visit with your family during the Christmas and New Year holidays. Check it out below.

Find Nearby Restaurant

The best place to start your food search is to find a Restaurant Near Me or Restaurant (enter location) on Google Search. You can also open the Google Maps app and tap on the restaurant at the top of the screen.

There are several filters that you can choose to produce better search results. Click the Filter icon to sort results based on price, opening hours, cooking types, and more.

Get Restaurant Recommendations

On Google, there is a personalized Your Match recommendation feature that makes you more likely to really enjoy new foods that you haven't tried yet.

Google uses information from restaurants you visit and rank in the Maps app, as well as your interest and web activity to estimate how likely you are to like other restaurants.

To customize your recommendations, click the restaurant you are interested in and click Your Match. From there, you can tap the Edit Food & Drinks Preference to adjust based on interests, dislikes and preferences such as halal or non-halal. Click the Interested or Not Interested button, and select Add Topics. From there you can read different types of dishes such as breakfast, seafood, and more.

See Restaurants on Street View

If you are not used to the location of the restaurant, you can confirm what the restaurant looks like, whether there are parking lots and others using Street View on Google Maps.

Find the restaurant you want to visit and tap on a small picture with a circular arrow to open the Street View. You can also tap the address of the restaurant and you'll be taken to the same place. From there, you'll be able to see what the location is, the building, as well as the parking lot on the road or nearest parking location.

Find Out which Restaurants Serve Inter message

If you are lazy to leave the house, Google Maps can tell you which restaurant provides take-out and delivery services. To do this, open Google Maps and look for a restaurant. Even without clicking on the option, the restaurant will include options such as dine-in, pick-up, take-out, or contactless delivery.
