JAKARTA - Microsoft has just provided access to public previews to Teams Premium, where users can test artificial intelligence (AI)-supported smart features such as live translation and others.

Teams Premium is an add-on to Microsoft Teams video conferencing services equipped with a variety of new features. The preview is available as a free trial for 30 days via Microsoft 365 Admin Center.

"The Microsoft Teams Premium makes meetings on the platform more personalized, intelligent, and secure," Microsoft said in its official blog.

With the presence of public previews, users can try out features such as, live translation from 40 languages to text, special meeting templates, and advanced webinar experiences that include registration of up to a thousand participants, interactivity with Q&A, and participant reporting.

The preview also includes features to protect sensitive content such as watermarks and labels, as well as end-to-end encryption for meetings.

Launching The Verge, Tuesday, December 20, the protection of this meeting can also be used to limit users from recording meetings and copying or gluing meeting chats.

If interested in trying certain features, users can check its availability on the Microsoft Tech Community blog.

However, if the public preview version is not available, Microsoft will launch a feature for Teams Premium throughout December to January, and users can sign up for Microsoft's official website for other updates.

After the 30-day free trial ends, users will lose access to the Teams Premium feature. And the official launch is scheduled for early February 2023, which is currently expected to cost $10 for IDR 155 thousand per month.
