Resident Evil Village VR Mode Ready To Join On February 22

JAKARTA - In June, Capcom announced that the VR Resident Evil Village mode will be coming soon. Now, the game developer has officially stated that the VR Resident Evil Village mode will be launched on February 22, 2023.

Resident Evil Village VR mode will be present as a free DLC (Downloadable Content) which can be directly downloaded and played as soon as you get the PlayStation VR2.

In this VR mode, you will find the whole story of the Resident Evil Village, and allow you to experience all the events you faced when she left to save her kidnapped daughter.

"Utilizing PlayStation VR2 completely, you will actually sink while playing Resident Evil Village with DLC," said Kanda Tsuyoshi, producer of Capcom Ltd.

Tsuyoshi also revealed, in terms of visuals, players can expect a smooth graph with 4K HDR resolution and eye tracking that will result in a higher perception of reality as if everything you see really exists.

In terms of audio, the game will feature 3D Audio, with audio from every corner, and touch through the PlayStation VP2 Sense controller.

"The Sense controller also allows intuitive moves like putting your hands on to keep and hold your gun in front of you to shoot, and there are additional measures you can take to increase your submersion," added Tsuyoshi.

Resident Evil Village or Resident Evil Village Gold Edition is needed to play this free DLC, and the DLC must be downloaded separately.
