Netflix Opens Game Director's Maker To Develop PC Games AAA, Interest?

JAKARTA - Netflix has been trying to build a gaming business in recent months, which presents a mobile gaming library on Android. So, the company is not satisfied with making PC AAA games again.

The information was first known by Engadget, when he saw a list of job vacancies posted by Netflix to search for a Game Director in Los Angeles, United States (US) who will lead the job in the new AAA PC game.

According to the detailed list of vacancies, the ideal Game Director will have at least 10 years of industry leadership experience needed to bring games from concept stage to prototype then full implementation.

Beyond the ability to lead the creation of games, Netflix wants Game Directors to develop the world, characters, narratives worthy of being a Netflix film or TV series.

Game Director candidates must also have experience with shooter games, live service games, and experience of rapidly making prototypes on Unreal Engine.

It seems that the company anticipates the AAA to be a success so that in the end it will be able to adapt the game into a show or film.

Launching 9to5Google, Thursday, November 24, Netflix first revealed its broader game ambitions recently with the opening of its Los Angeles-based studio, with former Overwatch director Chacko Sonny heading the studio.

The company also intends to work on cloud gaming platforms that will open higher-quality games for Netflix subscribers on mobile devices and elsewhere.
