Have you ever wanted to return the photo you deleted on Instagram to its original place? Don't worry, because Instagram doesn't really throw it away.

Instagram has a feature called Recently Deleted, hereby you can recover newly deleted uploads, including photos, videos, Reels, and Stories.

Since last year, items removed on Instagram have remained in the Recently Deleted folder for 30 days. After that, they will be removed automatically forever.

The only exception is deleted Stories, which will remain in the Recently Deleted folder for 24 hours before being lost for good.

How to Access Folder Recently Deleted Instagram

1. Open the Instagram application

2. Click your Profile icon in the right corner

3. Tap the three lines in the right corner

4. Select Your Activity

5. Scroll down and select Recently Deleted

How to Restore Uploads at Recently Deleted

1. Click the Profile icon on the right to open your profile

2. Tap the three lines on the right

3. Click Your Activity

4. Scroll down and select Recently Delete

5. Select photos, videos, or stories you want to recover or permanently delete

6. You may be able to filter the type of content you want to recover or permanently delete

7. Click the three-dot icon to the right of the post, click Recover
