JAKARTA - Rivian is known to have not sent a single vehicle with the largest battery which has been said to complement its R1T electric pickup to date.
Then, a Twitter user with the account name @klwtts claimed that he got an email saying the delivery of the Max Pack Quad Motor R1T had to wait until 2024.
"The estimated delivery window has been updated in your Account. Delivery of the R1T Quad-Motor + Max package is now planned to begin in 2024," the announcement reads, based on a screenshot shared.

Rivian also apologized for the shift in time, and realized that it could disturb its consumers. "We are working hard to improve and deliver as many vehicles as possible," he added.
However, the American electric vehicle maker said it would share more news about the Max package by the end of this year, including previous launches for the Dual Motor + Max package with deliveries starting in the Summer 2023.
Reservoirs are advised to reconfigure their orders if delivery is important in 2023, either by selecting a double version of the bike or lowering it to a smaller battery pack (big, 135 kWh).
"If at any time you reconfigure or change the delivery address, your delivery estimate in your Account will be updated to "process" waiting for our next scheduled update," Rivian explained.
While waiting for that time, the company promises to update your forecast every three months, namely every January, April, July, and October.
