Electric Vehicles Security At The G20 Summit: No Kidding, There Are Hundreds Of Electric Vehicles!

YOGYAKARTA - The National Police Traffic Corps has prepared 88 units of electric four-wheeled vehicles and 94 units of electric motorcycles for the security and escort of the G20 Summit (G20 Summit) in Bali. This international pilgrimage is scheduled to take place from 15 to 16 November 2022. Those are some electrical vehicles securing the G20 Summit.

To optimize security, Korlantas Polri through Subditwal and PJR Ditgakkum held a training on the ability of personnel to implement electric vehicles. This training involved 50 members of the Korlantas Polri.

"We train all members because we know the features and ways electric vehicles work differently from fossil vehicle mechanics. This training is not separate from the Pura Agung Operation which we held in securing the G20," said Assistant Chief of Police Inspector General Agung Setya Imam Effendi, quoted from the NTMC Polri website today, Friday, September 15, 2022.

After this training, it is hoped that members of the National Police can work on security properly so that the G20 Summit can run smoothly. Police officers can also continue to train to drive this electric vehicle until the G20 event takes place.

"In carrying out activities, we really are 100 percent ready and working on security well. I'm sure we can do this well," he said.

Some of the services include providing shelters for electric motors as vehicles during the G20 Summit and optimizing broadband networks in Bali.
