JAKARTA - BMW Group announced its latest partnership with AirConsole which will bring casual games into a new BMW electric vehicle, starting next year.

AirConsole is a gaming platform, and the company considers that AirConsole's services are well adapted to BMW Curved Display and offer a large and diverse catalog of games.

This game is run directly in the latest BMW entertainment system. AirConsole technology allows games to be sent instantly by air and control them using smartphones.

"With AirConsole we will take advantage of innovative technologies combined with a variety of fun games and multiplayers," said Stephan Durach, Senior Vice President of BMW Group Connected Company Development in a release shared on Twitter.

Durach added that this would make every situation waiting in the vehicle, such as charging, a fun moment.

Anthony Cliquot, CEO of N-Dream, the company behind the AirConsole brand says they are very proud and enthusiastic about this new partnership.

We are very proud to be the spearhead of the game in a vehicle with BMW and are excited to create new games for entertainment in a car. Our clever architecture coupled with the ease of access to our platform will change the way people get entertainment in their vehicle," he said.

AirConsole technology inside BMW will provide a smooth experience playing in cars. Players only need smartphones that serve as game controllers, and BMW Curved Display.

The connection between a smartphone and a vehicle is made, by scanning the QR code in the vehicle. The players can then immediately enjoy entertaining gameplay.
