JAKARTA - Apple is one of the largest technology companies in the world, its innovations are always eagerly awaited by everyone. No doubt, anyone will want to work there.

Apple CEO Tim Cook described four traits he sought from potential Apple employees during his 11 years of office in order to develop in the company.

Cook explained this during his graduation at the University of Naples Federico II, Italy, that Apple is looking for employees with creativity, curiosity, expertise, and the ability to collaborate. He sees Apple's success depending on its culture and who it employs.

It was a very good formula for us. It's not like someone going into corners or cupboards and finding out (how to build technology) themselves," Cook was quoted as saying by CNBC International, Wednesday, October 5.

"Apple is looking for fundamental feelings, for example if I share my idea with you, the idea will grow and get bigger and get better, or that (collaborative) process is how Apple creates products."

The sense of teamwork is suitable for creativity and curiosity, according to Cook, because all three are needed to launch new ideas or raise old ideas.

In addition, Cook is also looking for people who think differently, who can see problems and are not stuck in the dogma how the problem is always resolved properly.

"It's a cliché, but there's no stupid question. It's amazing when someone starts asking questions like a child does," Cook said.

But Apple, like many other tech companies, is slowing down recruitment amid a possible recession of economic downturn.

Even so, the slowdown in spending is not a policy across the company and will only affect certain divisions, Bloomberg reports, shouldn't affect the launch of a mixed reality headset, something scheduled for 2023.
