Burburu Interpol Founder Of Terra LUNA, Do Kwon: I Did Not Run Away!

JAKARTA After the collapse of Terra (LUNA) and Terra USD (UST) last May, the founder of Terraform Labs, Do Kwon, became a topic of discussion among the crypto community. He was recently reportedly being hunted by the authorities following an arrest warrant from a South Korean court.

Prosecutors don't seem to want to drag on with Do Kwon's problem. Prosecutors have asked Interpol for help to hunt down Do Kwon by issuing a Red Notice Interpol.

"The prosecutor on Monday submitted a request to Interpol for their assistance in finding Kwon, whose whereabouts are still unknown, and for him to be handed over to Korea," the Prosecutor's Office Spokesperson said.

As is well known, the collapse of LUNA and UST has eliminated 60 billion US dollars worth of investor money. In this case, the South Korean government moved quickly to take action against the founder of Terraform Labs.

After the destruction of LUNA and the UST stablecoin algorithmic which is detrimental to investors, Do Kwon made a recovery by presenting a new hard fork and making LUNA a Luna Classic (LUNC). While the new branch uses Terra (LUNA), the name that was previously used by LUNC.

Rebranding is confusing the crypto community. The reason is, the action is supported by several major crypto exchanges. Leading crypto influencer David Gokhstein said that only "sporters" were involved in the Terra Luna Classic (LUNC) trade.

Responding to the news of the arrest, Do Kwon wrote a Twitter thread stating that he was "not on the run" from the authorities.

I'm not on the run or the same for every government agency that has shown interest in communicating, we're working together fully and we don't have anything to hide, Do Kwon said in his Twitter post, September 18, 2022.
