The Following Is A List Of The Five Largest EV Power Charging Networks In The United States

JAKARTA - One of the most important things and cannot be separated from electric vehicles (EVs) is the battery charging station.

Many EV charging network companies continue to improve their quality. In fact, it is not uncommon for car manufacturers to have ambitions to build a charging network.

The following are the five largest charging networks in the United States that VOI has successfully quoted from Makeuseof.

Electrify America

Electrify America is the largest EV fast charging network (DC) for almost all electric vehicle models in the US.

This Electrify America station is the fastest available in the country. They provide up to 350kW of electricity within an hour.

For vehicles that can charge more than 100kW, you see a charging time of about less than half an hour at the Electrify America station.

Tesla Supercharger

Tesla's Supercharger Network is also the largest in As, with less inter-station distance than Electrify America.

While Tesla's current Supercharger is only available to Tesla vehicles, the company says it will build a charging network for more other EV models.

Tesla Supercharger has a lower maximum speed than Electrify America, which reaches 300kW, although limited to 250kW.

EVgo

If Tesla and Electrify's two fast charging networks (DC) are located in public places, EVgo is the home charger, which is also the largest in America.

EVgo stations tend to charge around 50kW. This means about an hour's charging time to reach 80%. It's a long time when making some stops on trips, but not bad when you charge when shopping or eating at a restaurant.

ChargePoint

Chargepoint has the largest charging network in the US, but when compared to Tesla and Electrify, the number of the ChargePoint network is relatively small.

On the other hand, ChargePoint stations tend to provide about 6.6 kW of electricity per hour, a type of Level 2 charging that you can achieve via 240v outlets or charging stations at home. This charger provides an range of about 25 miles per hour.

Blink

Blink is a Level 2 charging network in America. You can find it in hotels, businesses, and the like.

Like ChargePoint, there are some DC fast chargers available on the Blink network, but that's very small. Blink chargers provide about 50kW of power.

When Blink acquired SemaConnect, this charging network was of comparable size, substantially increasing their footprint across the country.
