JAKARTA - The free-to-play soccer video game developed and published by Strikerz Inc., will experience a release delay.

In a video announcement provided by Strikerz Inc. CEO Eugene Nashilov on Wednesday, August 30, he said that the release date of UFL would be pushed back until 2023.

The developer first revealed the UFL trailer earlier this year and revealed that the game would be the same year. But unfortunately, the decision changed because the developer wanted to ensure the best quality.

"We at Strikerz Inc. have always set very high standards for ourselves both inside and outside the studio," Nashilov said in the video.

He also said that their goal was still the same as before, namely to display the best graphic quality and gameplay, not to forget to bring realistic football matches on the field.

"Today, we announced that the release date will be moved to 2023," he added further.

However, developers say that currently the UFL development stage has reached 80 percent, but they still need a lot of time to complete it.

Furthermore, Strikerz Inc. promises an update on UFL at the end of this year. "You can expect an update on this December release date. Until then, we have a lot of great content to announce."

When launched later, the UFL will be released on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Series S.
