JAKARTA - Tesla's Cybertruck, which has been the object of intense fascination and ridicule due to the uncertainty of its launch next year, should be selling for a very attractive 39,900 US dollars (Rp 596.3 million). Dual motor all-wheel drive with 300 miles of range, 10,000 pound towing capacity and zero to 60mph in less than 4.5 seconds for $49,900.
Triple motor all-wheel drive with 500 miles of range, 14,000 pounds of towing capacity and zero to 60mph in less than 2.9 seconds for $69,900.
Another unanswered question is the number of reservations Tesla currently has. The last reported number of 650,000 dates from June 2020, but is assumed to have grown since then.
Cybertruck reservation tally crowdsourced by Cybertruck forums with more than 28,000 entries puts reservations at over 1 million as of May 2021, according to Electrek. The numbers have steadily grown over the past year, and are now estimated to be close to 1.5 million bookings.
