JAKARTA - Since the PlayStation 5 was first launched, Sony claims to have collected feedback from its players, and will add more features requested by players.

On Thursday, July 28th, Sony finally announced that they are launching PS5 Beta which will bring improvements like resolution support up to 1440p, game listings, and other additional updates to make your gaming experience even easier.

Even though the PS5 already supports resolutions up to 1080p, it seems that 1440p is a much-requested upgrade from the community.

Currently, Sony says while the trial is limited to select users in a few countries, it plans to release it globally by the end of this year.

"You have been selected to participate in the beta, you will receive an email invitation when it becomes available for download today," Sony wrote on its blog.

According to the company, if the game you're playing supports 1440p rendering, then you can automatically experience native 1440p output on your screen.

In addition to 1440p support, the latest beta software also provides users with a new way to list games in their Game Library, so they can better organize all the titles they own.

According to company records, players can create up to 15 game lists with each listing containing 100 games.
