Only 48 Hours Become A Free-to-Play Game, Fall Guys Players Have Passed 20 Million Players

JAKARTA - The battle royale game from Mediatonic developer, Fall Guys became free-to-play recently. Unexpectedly, it turned out that Fall Guys reaped the benefits of more than 20 million players in the first two days.

In a developer tweet, Mediatonic announced the news. “THANK YOU SO MUCH TO EVERYONE WHO HAS HAPPENED. We hit an incredible 20 million players in the first 48 hours of Free For All," he wrote.

Since it was first released in 2020, Fall Guys has experienced no shortage of player thrills. But recently with Fall Guys already available on other platforms to be played for free, it seems that it has increased the interest of the players.

Due to the spike in the number of players due to this free-to-play mode, Fall Guys had an issue with players reporting that they were unable to enter the game. Finally the developer gives the reason why it can happen is because the server is full.

"We hope this can be improved over time, but for now it will help with the Custom Lobbying issue we're having," the developer wrote in his apology.

Furthermore, Fall Guys will bring some interesting things to come to the game in the future. Meanwhile, Mediatonic is also working on a stage builder for the battle royale title. Fall Guys is now available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
