JAKARTA - WhatsApp was recently reported to be working on a new tool that will be released for WhatsApp Business in the future.

WAbetainfo reports that this feature will later allow them to make "Orders" directly in their chats with their customers.

This feature is coming soon to WhatsApp beta for Android, iOS, as well as Desktop.

From the screenshot taken by WAbetainfo, it shows that when you tap on the Order shortcut, you will see a new section named "Create an Order".

Like placing an order in the online shop application, you can add orders and the total price will appear at the bottom. Then, the orders that you have made will appear automatically in your chat room with the seller.

This is a special feature for businesses, so this feature will only appear for WhatsApp Business on Desktop and plans to expand it to Android and iOS on a limited basis.

It should be noted that this feature is still under development, so it is not ready to use at this time.

Some time ago, WhatsApp threatened to be blocked because the Ministry of Communication and Information (Kemenkominfo) announced that it would block access to private domestic and foreign Electronic System Operators (PSE) if they had not registered by the deadline, July 20, 2022.
