JAKARTA - Pornhub owner MindGeek announced on Tuesday, June 21 that Pornhub's Chief Executive Officer, Feras Antoon and Chief Operating Officer, David Tassillo, have stepped down after more than a decade of running the adult website company.
"This executive's resignation was planned as early as 2022," said MindGeek. He added that both Antoon and Tassillo will remain shareholders of the content company at this time.
Luxembourg-based MindGeek, which also owns an adult film production company, has been embroiled in controversy in recent years.
A lawsuit in 2021 accused MindGeek of violating federal sex trafficking and child pornography laws by allowing, and profiting from, its users posting pornographic videos featuring people under the age of 18.
