Now You Can Add Filters To Brighten Image Quality In Microsoft Teams

JAKARTA - Microsoft will soon provide some video call quality improvements and reduce some annoyances. Microsoft teams are now using AI and machine learning technologies to improve audio and video.

"Today, we're announcing the availability of new Teams features including echo cancellation, adjusting audio in poor acoustic environments, and allowing users to talk and hear at the same time without interruption," Microsoft said on its blog Monday, June 13.

This feature builds on features to extend the suppression of background noise. This AI echo cancellation feature allows the engine to recognize the difference between the sound from the speaker and the user's voice.

Furthermore, Microsoft will also make user audio sound clear and crisp as if using a close-range microphone. In addition, there is also noise suppression in Microsoft Teams which will keep Microsoft Teams customers from being disturbed by outside noises.

Microsoft says that these AI-driven audio enhancements are currently rolling out and are expected to be generally available in the coming months.

Not only improvements to audio quality, Microsoft Teams also provides improvements to video quality. Microsoft recently released groundbreaking AI-based screen sharing and video quality optimization for Teams.

From adjustments for low light to optimization based on the type of content being shared. Microsoft is now also providing new AI-powered filters in Teams. This feature can give you the option to adjust brightness and add soft focus to your meetings with simple buttons in your device settings.
