JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that the DKI Jakarta area will experience rain with light to moderate intensity. For areas in South Jakarta, East Jakarta and West Jakarta, the potential for rain is accompanied by lightning and strong winds.

Reporting from the official BMKG website, Saturday, October 24, Jakarta started the morning with cloudy weather. Meanwhile, light rain will occur in North Jakarta and the Thousand Islands.

Entering the afternoon, BMKG predicts moderate intensity rain will occur at several points in Central Jakarta, West Jakarta and North Jakarta. Meanwhile, South Jakarta and East Jakarta are predicted to experience rain accompanied by lightning.

"Be aware of the potential for rain with moderate to heavy intensity which can be accompanied by lightning / lightning and strong winds of short duration in South Jakarta, West Jakarta and East Jakarta in the late afternoon and evening," wrote BMKG.

Meanwhile, cities around Jakarta such as Bekasi, Bogor and Depok have the opportunity to be cloudy with strong winds. Then it rained with moderate intensity until the night.

In Banten, Tangerang City is forecasted to be cloudy this morning until the afternoon. At night, the weather may be cloudy.
