JAKARTA - Microsoft Corp will bring several Xbox games to its 2022 Samsung smart TVs starting June 30. This is a big step for the South Korean electronics company to attract console-less gamers to its platform.

"Subscribers of the Xbox cloud-gaming service can play more than 100 titles on their TV, which can be paired with popular Bluetooth-enabled controllers," Microsoft said Thursday, June 9, as quoted by Reuters.

Titles including "Halo Infinite" and "Forza Horizon 5" will be available on the new line of TVs and an Xbox console will not be required to play the games.

Xbox is also starting to work with major TV manufacturers in 2021 in a bid to bring its games to all devices and improve its subscription-based offering called Xbox Game Pass. They also launched game streaming on Android smartphones in 2018.
