New Game From Kojima Productions Leaked, Overdose Claimed To Be A Horror Game

JAKARTA - An independent journalist had attracted attention because he shared a story about the upcoming new game from Hideo Kojima, and Kojima Productions.

The game was claimed by the journalist as a horror genre game, and was dubbed the name Overdose. Journalists also mention the name of the actress who starred in it.

According to Kotaku, a freelance reporter named Tom Henderson, who regularly publishes in Try Hard Guides wrote about Overdose in a June 7 post.

Henderson shared some details about the game. Because of this, Kojima Productions moved quickly to request that the story be removed.

According to Henderson's claim, he saw a videotape from a source who wished to remain anonymous. The video shows an actress Henderson said walking down a dark corridor carrying a flashlight and wearing a blue dress.

After a bit of exploring, a jumpscare appeared on the screen, followed by some “Game Over” text, and then the words: “A Hideo Kojima Game…Overdose .”

Apparently, what Henderson wrote was based on what he saw. A Kojima Productions representative immediately contacted Henderson and asked him to remove the story.

The Kotaku team immediately contacted Henderson. "I've seen a game that says it's a Hideo Kojima game' but doesn't leak any footage," was the gist of the email Henderson sent to Kotaku.

In a series of tweets Henderson made, he said his posts would be temporarily inactive.

Whether with Kojima Productions asking to remove the story from Henderson is a leak that there will be a new game from Kojima, you will be able to find out if there is official confirmation.
