JAKARTA - Arc System Works announced that the game Guilty Gear Strive will get a new edition on August 9. The new edition will include the base game and Season Pass 1.

The 2022 Starter Edition will be released on August 9 in Japan for 5,980 yen (Rp 680 thousand) on PS4 and PS5. Currently, a Western release date has not been announced.

"In addition to the main game, the contents of the Season Pass 1 are also included, so the price is affordable," the developer wrote in the announcement.

The new edition will include the base game and Season Pass 1, which features five Downloadable Content (DLC) characters, two additional stages, and story DLC.

Additionally, in the Guilty Gear Strive 1st Anniversary broadcast on May 25, Arc System Works announced that the Battle balance will be updated on June 10.

"We plan to adjust the balance for the game system and all characters," the announcement said.

Arc System Works also plans to do a beta test this summer to implement a cross-platform functionality that allows online battles between the PS4 or PS5 version and the Steam version.
