JAKARTA - The problem of feces becomes a daily consumption if you occupy a building, whether it's a house, building or hotel. From these problems emerged parties who provided assistance to solve problems related to feces that were present in various cities in Indonesia, namely WC suction services.

Explained by Nur Cahyo, Director of CV. Citra Mandiri if it is currently reaching various cities to solve various problems related to feces, some of which are suctioning the WC in Surabaya and suctioning the toilet in Sidoarjo.

"Our services have reached various cities in East Java from Surabaya, Mojokerto, Sidoarjo to Pasuruan to help people clean up waste in their respective places," said Nur Cahyo.

On the other hand, still said Nur Cahyo, the academic world also contributes to helping the business world about the importance of managing feces. The innovation emerged from the hands of Dr. Muhammad Heri Zulfiar, ST, MT, a researcher from the Faculty of Engineering, University of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta, who innovates a fecal waste treatment tool that can produce biogas energy and environmentally friendly waste.

Nur Cahyo explained that the tool is made of PVC pipe with horizontal and vertical installations with certain angles and sizes.

"Many people think that the process of decomposing feces only takes one stage, where the design is made using only 1 treatment room called a Septic Tank (usually called a Septic Tank)," added Nur Cahyo.

Furthermore, Nur Cahyo said that the decomposition of feces goes through a three-step process, namely: the aerobic process, the deposition process, and the anaerobic process. The existing system in the septic tank using one stage will not be able to separate the aerobic and anaerobic processes so that the decomposition process of feces cannot work optimally and causes the feces not to decompose and also the construction of the sewage treatment plant often becomes full prematurely. Another thing that is also rarely known by the public is the use of methane content as a gas that can be used as a source of fuel for cooking needs which is very beneficial for mothers who do a lot of activities in the kitchen.

He hopes, through the collaboration of business and academic actors, this can continue considering that faecal problems will continue to emerge along with the development of the times and increasingly dense settlements.
